Synopsis

When his brother suddenly collapses during their travels, a young and cowardly mage must journey to a nearby waterfall to conduct a ceremony that can heal his brother’s illness. The young mage, Yasso, must struggle with his brother’s declining condition and the expectation to inherit his brother’s role in their group of mages— all while venturing into the dangerous unknowns of a magical but ruthless fantasy world.

Production

The film was shot over two consecutive weekends in locations around Middletown, Connecticut. The production was entirely student-led, with additional support from Wesleyan’s College of Film and the Moving Image, the Middletown Parks Division, and the Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection.
